Namings

A bespoke naming ceremony is a wonderful way to welcome a baby or child into a family and community. Registered and trained with the UK Society of Celebrants Awenack Celebrants can work with you to create a ceremony that involves all of those close to the child(ren) - including parents, grandparents, siblings, guardians and friends - and includes specially chosen words and promises.

Our approach is friendly, caring and creative and we will work with you to create and produce a ceremony that focuses on your values and beliefs and highlights your hopes for the future of your child/children. The cost of a naming ceremony includes a home visit and telephone contact and following the ceremony you will receive a transcript of the ceremony. Extra elements can also be included.

A basic ceremony costs £180. Extra elements can be added as agreed (see Elements page for some possibilities).
